Ingredients

Add in the order listed
(Medium loaf is a little more than half the machine's capacity.)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix together the liquid ingredients (milk and water) and butter. Microwave the mix until the butter is ~90% melted.
  2. Add salt and mix well. Transfer the mixture into the bread pan
  3. Add flour to the mix, distributing evenly
  4. Distribute sugar evenly on top
  5. Distribute active dry yeast evenly on top
  6. Select mode 1 (regular white bread) and start. It should take 2hr 45mins
  7. When there is 25 minutes left, open the lid to reduce the temperature of the machine, and then close it back
  8. When there is 15 minutes left, stop the machine and take the bread pan out, placing it upside down on a rack to cool for 15 minutes
  9. Once it has cooled, slice the bread with a bread knife

  • This recipe makes a soft bread, similar to "shokupan" or milk bread. (Unlike the recipe in the manual which is hard like a baguette)
