Comments
- 1st try: (with 150g flour) The cookies came out a little cakier than expected. Try using less flour and flatten the dough a little more next time.
- 2nd try: We used 140g of flour, and flattened the dough. The cookies turned out delicious, but the texture was crispy rather than soft and chewy like we were going for.
- 3rd try: Same as 2nd try, but with less butter (90g). Also made a chocolate version where the matcha powder is substituted with cocoa powder and white chocolate substituted with bittersweet. Still tastes good, but the outer edges are still a little too crispy for the matcha one. Try baking at lower heat on longer time (e.g. 300°F 15min). Can also try without refrigerating.
- 4th try: Baking at 300°F for 15 mins, the texture comes out really good. 300°F was the set temperature for our oven, the in-oven thermometer was showing just 270°F.
