Ingredients
Yields 6 scones
- Cake flour 170g (Can substitute with 150g all purpose flour + 20g corn starch)
- Unsalted butter (cold) 40g
- Egg 1 pc
- Milk 50g
- Baking powder 5g
- Honey 20g
- Sugar 10g
- Salt 1g
- Honey (for glazing)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a medium bowl and mix well. Cut butter into small pieces and add to the bowl. Mix well with hands
- Add egg, milk and honey, mix with spatula
- Divide the scone dough into 6 pieces and bake in 400°F for 20 mins
- Remove scones from the oven and use a brush to glaze honey on top of scones and serve
