- 400g Flour (optional: replace 30g with cocoa powder)
- 221g Brown sugar
- 44g White sugar
- 220g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 Egg
- 120g Chocolate chips
- (optional) 24g Oatmeal
Steps
- In a large bowl, melt the butter, and mix with granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined
- In a different bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract
- Add the egg mixture into the large bowl little by little, and mix well
- Sift in flour and baking soda, then add salt, and mix with a spatula until combined
- Mix in chocolate chips and optionally the oatmeal
- Shape the dough into small balls of 25g each and press down onto a baking tray to make them disc-shaped. The cookies in this recipe spread out only a little bit (~10-20%).
- Bake at 340°F for 10 minutes
