Chocolate chip cookies

 


Ingredients

40 pieces
  • 400g Flour (optional: replace 30g with cocoa powder)
  • 221g Brown sugar
  • 44g White sugar
  • 220g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 Egg
  • 120g Chocolate chips
  • (optional) 24g Oatmeal

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, melt the butter, and mix with granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined
  2. In a different bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract
  3. Add the egg mixture into the large bowl little by little, and mix well
  4. Sift in flour and baking soda, then add salt, and mix with a spatula until combined
  5. Mix in chocolate chips and optionally the oatmeal
  6. Shape the dough into small balls of 25g each and press down onto a baking tray to make them disc-shaped. The cookies in this recipe spread out only a little bit (~10-20%).
  7. Bake at 340°F for 10 minutes
